ARTIST BIO: As a retired art educator, Kat Rakel-Ferguson is enjoying the opportunity to create her own work once again. For more than 30 years she has worked with photographic processes, particularly hand-applied emulsions. Social and political themes frequent her images. More recently, she has explored spiritual and philosophical concerns. LIGHT, photo’s essential element has led her to a new medium – GLASS. Options are unlimited. Retirement is good!
