“This piece reflects on lethal injection, referencing Troy Anthony Davis, who maintained his innocence until his 2011 execution. It features the three common chemicals: an anesthetic, a paralytic, and a heart-stopping agent. The work questions justice, innocence, and the irreversible nature of capital punishment, especially when doubt surrounds a prisoner’s guilt.”
