“My print is about humanity’s right to safety, demonstrated through child rape and sexual asault. The teddy bear, representing a little girl, has the space between the legs ripped open and destroyed, symbolizing the physical and mental trauma done to little girls by horrible people who use them for pleasure.”

ARTIST BIO: Lily McGuire is a 15 years old who ties her personal life and experiences to her art. She’s been playing the violin for 8 years and often ties music into her art. Lily supports women in her community through her social media and her
art to which she often combines poems that reflect the same meaning. She wishes to pursue a future career in art.
