“What Remains explores the aftermath of broken peace. Cradled with care, the shattered symbol symbolizes the burden of loss and the responsibility to rebuild.”
ARTIST BIO: As the daughter of an artist, Diane Kappa has been creating all her life, but printmaking is her most personal medium. She works primarily in linoleum block printing, often combining textile-inspired patterns with hand stitching. After founding her art licensing business nearly 20 years ago, she has recently shifted toward more personal work that informs and deepens her commercial practice. Travel and creative retreats—most recently a 2025 residency at Château Orquevaux—continue to inspire her process and reinforce the importance of artistic community and experimentation.
