“My piece, a container for bone fragments from a partial knee replacement, is meant to aid in reflecting on impermanence, dying and grieving. I believe that thinking about these issues may lead to empathy, a path to sustainability with our planet and each other.”

ARTIST BIO: Steven Finke was born in NYC in 1957. He currently lives in SW Ohio where he is working on sculpture in the forest. He taught Sculpture at Norhtern Kentucky University for 32 years.
