“Mental health awareness is vital as it impacts all our lives. My quilt shares stories and actions taken.The individual is fabric collaged into a frame of newspaper articles printed on fabric and then quilted. The title is stitched onto organza and burned to reveal letters.”

ARTIST BIO: Carole Price, born in Chicago, grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has worked as a nurse, cancer advocate, author, research grant reviewer, and a lobbyer with groups for state and federal policy changes. She has also traveled extensively. Carole brings all these experiences into her artwork. She has been in multiple juried shows, international exhibitions, and multiple commissions. She is a member of CQAFA (Contemporary Quilt and Fiber Artists) and AQU ( Art Quilters Unlimited).
