“My print depicts the idea of victims being blamed for their own experiences with sexual assault. Each victim is wearing something different, portraying that what they were wearing was irrelevant to their experience. My piece illustrates that all humans should have the right to make decisions for their own bodies and that the violation they faced was never their fault.”
ARTIST BIO: Aurora Juliette Studenka is sixteen years old. All her life, she grew up with severe mental illness, but it encouraged her to find hobbies that helped her cope and express how she is feeling. Some of Aurora’s strengths are paying attention to detail and being resourceful, turning seemingly nothing into something.
