“CBAS challenged us to create a book with a spool. This is a prayer wheel. It can be held in one’s hands and made to spin. It does not pray for anything specific. The writing on the pieces of paper list a variety of ways people pray. It is not meant to be exhaustive; just a thought.”

ARTIST BIO: Richard Albin came to Kentucky to teach theatre at a small Baptist College some sixty years ago. The month he arrived the college went bankrupt; so, he had to practice what he taught. He toured the country and overseas doing concerts of folk music and stories. For the last 15 years before retirement, he worked as an artist-in-residence in schools for the Kentucky Arts Council.
