“In this work, the process led to expressing worries and concerns over the cruel fate of living things, in this case, the lobster. The lobster’s flesh is a tender, tasty delicacy available at a high cost, especially to the lobster.”
ARTIST BIO Artist Kurt W. Storch, 67, lives and works in the Camp Washington neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. The evolution of his work has taken several forms, most recently working in water-media on canvas. He has long been an artist/activist in the areas of social awareness and peace and justice as well as exploring through art aspects of mental wellness.
