“As an advocate, I co-created events to inspire awareness of the plights and politics along the border. I worked with refugees in the Sonoran desert in Southern Arizona. Their journey was dangerous with hopes of a better life. Many refugees had ancient Mayan heritage, The University of Arizona discovered at least twelve different ancient dialects.”

ARTIST BIO: For years, Robin Motzer lived in the West Coast, the Desert Southwest, traveled, and owned a design-build-color consulting business. Habitat restorations, advocacy, features in media, animal portraits, nature abstracts, writing essays and poetry, led to her publication, Wildlands, “A creative revolution to restore health, well-being and sovereignty for soils and souls.” She and her partner are remodeling a home and she is happy to be back in SW Ohio.
