“After reading my poem, “Bloated Border”, I was asked to run for office by an Arizona representative of National Parks Conservation Association (now Vice-Mayor of Tucson) who was accompanied by a former AZ Congressman. I said, “thanks, with the divisiveness of politics, I feel more assured with grass-roots art and advocacy to help fix problems.””
ARTIST BIO: For years, Robin Motzer lived in the West Coast, the Desert Southwest, traveled, and owned a design-build-color consulting business. Habitat restorations, advocacy, features in media, animal portraits, nature abstracts, writing essays and poetry, led to her publication, Wildlands, “A creative revolution to restore health, well-being and sovereignty for soils and souls.” She and her partner are remodeling a home and she is happy to be back in SW Ohio.
