ARTIST BIO: Kaya Friday is a student at the University of Cincinnati studying Fine Arts in the DAAP program. During their studies, they have completed a fellowship with Artworks Cincy and shown their work in multiple exhibitions, including Lavender Balm: Queer Resilience at the Artworks v2 Gallery and, the 51st Annual Hamilton Current at the Fitton Arts Center. Their art touches on topics of queer politics and celebrates the diversity of identities within the queer community.
