“Water is life giving, reflective, shape shifting, essential.”
ARTIST BIO: For the past 49 years, Margaret Rhein has been making paper by hand at her studio, Terrapin Paper Mill in Cincinnati, Ohio. Exploring the possibilities of using paper, she has been making decorative paper patterns on the surface using Suminagashi (Japanese Marbling). Margaret finds the spontaneity of the marbling process excels in being a platform for telling stories of the movement and essential nature of water.
