“When my church University Christian Church (UCC) asked me to do an art piece about Human Trafficking for January’s month of prayer, I was shocked to learn that at least 27.6 million people are trafficked globally annually. The tattoos that historically labeled humans as property are disturbing and sometimes hidden in plain sight.”

ARTIST BIO: Since 2006, Lauri Ann Aultman has been a mixed media Artist Activist with SOS ART. She is also a poet in “For A Better World.” In 2021 & 2023, Lauri Ann’s poetry was used for Global Water Dances (Cincinnati). She works at the Kennedy Heights Arts Center part-time and is also writing children’s books.
