stoneware, bronze, brass, resin; 15x14x35”

“This piece is a self portrait and is my most personal. It is meant to convey the feelings of betrayal from my first long lasting relationship. The relationship in question is represented with strawberries, which my partner loved, and the blade is decorated in. The figure is numb, lost and emotionless to show how I felt after the situation. I used this work and others in the series to help myself move on from these hurt feelings, reconcile with my friend, and realize I had my own faults to apologize for.”
