“How many times must we remind our young people, especially young black males, that they measure up, they are more than enough, and have a destiny to fulfill? In this piece, I convey the importance of standing up for our youth and reminding them they have more purpose than they know. With the hopes that we no longer must protest due to lives lost due to senseless violence, there is a prayer that our young people will grow and realize their worth and society will also see that value.”
