“I am constantly processing and adding visual or audio elements from popular culture in my artwork. The processing of this information is an act of personal therapy to reconcile and create peace with the bombardment of often negative and traumatic imagery.”

ARTIST BIO: Adam Maloney draws and does audio installations. What he does really is romanticized pop art, or pop romanticism, often times in the form of guerilla art. Currently, he is located in Cincinnati. Besides drawing on paper and canvas, Iheoften works on everyday found surfaces. He usually uses cheap retail store bought materials, basically anything that he can get his hands on is utilized. The work tends to concern terrorism, classic nineteen eighties video games, and wholesale pop culture eroticism featuring the everyday girl next door beautiful woman. Frenzied and archaic two-dimensional compositions express simple themes and ideas.
