“This piece is a reimagining of Caravaggio. It represents the smaller David as knowledge and the larger Goliath as hate and ignorance. It does not take a major institution to eradicate ignorance. Small acts of kindness can have exponential effects.”
ARTIST BIO: Jim Conroy is a self taught artist, Cincinnati native, and a retired firefighter/ paramedic. He is a member of the Cincinnati Art Club and PAN NKY, also a current Cincinnati Art Club board member. Through his art, Jim works to create a language of shared experience and understanding.
