“I am at the bottom of many Waters
I am on the trees of many limbs
I know what tar and feather mean
I have been unrecognizable to my mother and I know what shortening of the last breath does mean to you.
Oh yes, my existence is still painful in many other ways but I will never take my eyes off of you

I never got my piece of 40 acres and a mule (PIECE)”
