“This piece symbolizes the fight that humankind have been waging on nature, the way that nature will always preserve and conquer back to the tranquil state of stasis. The skulls represent the human form and the way we are everywhere and try to cover nature. The pomegranate fruit in the center represents that nature will bear her fruit with or without human intervention.”

ARTIST BIO: Seth Birch is a multidisciplinary sculptor and artist. Being raised in rural Ohio, ideas on the environment and mental health are key themes in his work. Seth Graduated from Xavier University he looks to the future to discuss these topics.
