“Constitution Series: This series is about stating my beliefs based on the Constitution. I believe that if we are going to survive the quiet civil war we are moving through, we must find a way to bring opposing sides together so that there can be a ‘united states of america’. We must find common ground so we can grow and not tear the ‘other’ apart. I believe we can find our common ground in the Constitution. The Constitution may be the only thing in its broadest terms that we can agree upon. These works are about opposing political sides expressing these statements in chorus. The word path demonstrates how the statement can be misunderstood if read in one direction but understood completely when read in the other direction. How can we come together and speak our beliefs in a direction that is understood by both? No one is coming to help us or save the day. We must do this ourselves. One to one.”
