“This piece is inspired by the destruction of the Education Above All Al Fakhoora House in Al Rimal, Gaza, which was destroyed in October 2023 from bombing by Israel during the “Operation of Iron Swords.” The UN reports that as of April 2024, more than 80% of schools in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed. “
